With a deep love for music and extensive experience in both piano and violin, I offer lessons for beginning to intermediate students of all ages. My musical journey began with a dedicated piano teacher who inspired me to not only develop my technique but also to share the joy of music with others. Some of my most meaningful experiences include playing for my grandparents and at the church I grew up attending. I also played violin in my school orchestra through college and taught violin in an afterschool program for elementary students. In addition to private lessons, I teach Pre-K through 8th grade general music in Chicago. My approach to piano lessons is well-rounded, focusing on building strong technique and artistry, understanding music theory, and setting clear goals to help students advance their repertoire. I tailor each lesson to the student’s interests and learning style, blending classical, jazz, and contemporary music. Whether you’re a parent seeking lessons for your child or an adult looking to improve, I create a supportive and engaging environment where students can grow musically and develop confidence in their abilities.
